Welcoming the strange.

This is one of the few moments in my life that I wish I’m home because I’m pretty sure everybody in our neighborhood gets excited for NBA Finals week esp. my cousins. :) Yes! I’m a big fan of NBA but I’m just really rooting for 2 teams basically, it’s only for Mavericks and Heat sometimes Lakers. Originally, it was Mavericks, my first love of my life and then my love for Heat came only afterwards. Truth to be told, I hate Heat at first. Haha. I think that was 2006 when I first got to really know them. It was NBA Finals week like today then Mavericks was defeated by Heat. How I hated Dwayne Wade at that time. If I could still remember, I watched that Finals in the hospital with my dad. I can’t even believe during the last days of my dad, we were watching NBA Finals and felt sad when Mavericks lost that fight. Dad was like that Wade player is really good and I think he was still a rookie that time. I hated him eventually I came to know who he is and did some research about him. Dylan, who’s super duper an avid fan of Basketball who can name all the players in NBA and PBA. Imagine? Anyway, Dylan came to like him and eventually, yeah, I like him then eventually. He’s super down to earth and very humble. Okay. I’m a fan girl. Hahahaha. You see, with my cousins were really a big fan of Basketball to the point that we named our nephews Dirk and Dwayne. Hahahaha. Of course, I got to name him Dwayne Grisham. (I was into John Grisham that time) I have that effect to my cousins that I’m so influential to have their baby named to what I like. Hahahahaha. Not only me including Dylan. So again in 2011 after 5 years, Mavericks vs. Heat came and it was such a heated discussion on what team to support. Eventually, Dylan supported Mavericks and I went to Heat. Then Heat lost that championship after that I think I came to support Heat all the way. If I could still remember, my cousins and I, were trashing in Facebook. Hahahaha. Fun times. I tell you we don’t half-ass with regard to NBA. Haha. Now, OMGosh. It’s NBA Finals week again and Spurs is really a good time. How I wish everything would run smoothly for Heat. I know Lebron James is a good player and really made a big contribution for the team but I really don’t like him for some reason. Haha. I don’t know why. He’s a good player and he knows his game well. That’s important. I’m so biased. Hahaha. Like what I said, hopefully Heat will win. :) I really don’t know how to describe Dwayne Wade in an articulate manner  but yeah, I guess this video explains a lot. When I was still in University, I once joined the Girls’ Basketball varsity team and I wasn’t in. Hahahahaha. It was a cool experience though. I tell you all the trainings that these basketball players do isn’t that easy. Well, I guess not just a basketball player BUT I think all sports players. Sports is important. It makes you sweat and get energized at the same time it helps you not to think of any negativity in life. I don’t have expectations for this Finals. I just really hope everything would fall into the right place - which is Heat should win. (No expectations) Hahahahha
